The Department of Philosophy at the University of Chicago is organizing a conference in honor of Josef Stern, William H. Colvin Professor Emeritus in the Department of Philosophy and in the College, and Inaugural Director of the Chicago Center for Jewish Studies. The conference will be an occasion to honor Josef Stern's work and his contributions to the University, where he retired in the Spring quarter 2016 after having taught almost continuously since 1979. The conference will be held at the Franke Institute for the Humanities on December 4--5, 2016. More info here.
